NEW YORK, NY, November 11, 2025 -- Over 20,000 marchers moved up Fifth Avenue on Tuesday for the 106th NYC Veterans Day Parade -the biggest veterans commemoration in the country.
Active military, veterans from every branch, service organizations, youth cadets, marching bands, and vintage vehicles filled the streets. This year marked a major milestone: 250 years since the founding of the Army, Marine Corps, and Navy.
Army veteran Clinton Romesha (Medal of Honor) and Marine Stephen Peck (former president of U.S.VETS) led as Grand Marshals.
The tradition started in 1919 after WWI ended and hasn't missed a year since. It remains one of New York's most powerful annual gatherings - a city-wide moment to honor service and sacrifice across generations.
Contributor Jeff Day was there to photograph the parade.
