Her latest cookbook, Veg Forward, celebrates vegetables in over 100 recipes.

A friend of Marilee's Farmstand, Spungen showcases Foster Farms' seasonal bounty in her work — making this East End event extra special.

As her bio notes, Spungen was the founding food editor at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and her influence spans film and publishing — from culinary consulting on Julie & Julia, It's Complicated, and Eat, Pray, Love to co-authoring Martha Stewart's Hors d'Oeuvres Handbook.
