From Karina Forrest, Loaves & Fishes Foodstore:
Java Nation is a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop next to the Bridgehampton train station. It’s quaint—adorable, really — with an old-school Brooklyn feel (but not in the hipster way).
Andrew, the owner, roasts the coffee himself, and it’s delicious. The team behind the counter is warm and efficient, whether you’re there for a quick cup or a long chat.
Every Monday night, there’s a women’s circle that’s been going for three years. It’s free, and the food is provided — often by us.
Women come from all ages, from 18 to 80. Sometimes there are speakers, especially in summer. Other nights, it’s just a space to connect: to share what’s coming up in your life, to listen, to gather in community.
Dana, who started it, really believes in offering something for free that gives back.

Loaves & Fishes Foodstore has been part of Sagaponack since 1980. Now in its third generation with Anna Pump's daughter and granddaughter at the helm, the market stays true to real food made from scratch. The menu changes weekly — keeping locals excited while preserving favorites like curry chicken salad, schnitzel, sesame noodles, and that must-have molten brownie pudding.
