Childhood Friends

I would recommend Almond, the restaurant in Bridgehampton, very comfortably and heartily.

Owners Jason and Eric are people I've known since I was three years old, four years old, something like that. I've known them forever. They're both dear friends.

Perfect Partnership

Jason's an excellent cook. Eric's an excellent host and a very charismatic person.

They both run a great restaurant together - front of house, back of house.

It's always a fun vibe over there.

The Karaoke Connection

Almond also holds a popular karaoke night -- Saturdays in the off-season, Thursdays in summer.

Carlos Lama is the DJ for that. He and his family are also great people. His wife's very heavily involved in Guild Hall. One of his daughters, Lola, has a great band, The Cherry Bombs. They perform pretty frequently at the Stephen Talkhouse and other places out here.
