An Old-School Drive-In

Like John's Drive-In in Montauk, Slo-Jack's is the same concept — an old 50s drive-up burger place. 

But they also have mini golf in the back, which is awesome. 

And here's the cool part: the guy that owns it repairs surfboards. Like, how cool, right?

Inside Tip 🪄

The burgers at Slo-Jack’s are fantastic. 

The fried chicken basket? It's a little expensive, but worth it.

The clam strip basket is incredibly good, too . 

For beverages: Cherry Coke or a chocolate milkshake. Or both. 

Food Math

Fried chicken basket + clam strip basket + chocolate milkshake + round of mini golf = perfection… or guilt. Or both.

Cristen Motty and Ben McHugh co-own Hampton Photo Arts, the artist-centric framing, printing, and archival center that's served the East End's creative community since 1989. Cristen and Ben run the Southampton shop as fellow artists who've exhibited in local galleries, participated in art collectives, and co-created the Off Hampton Film Festival.
