From Jesse, Sen resaurant, Sag Harbor:
When Iโm not at my own places, East Hampton Grill is one of my go-to's. They just do everything well. The service is great, and the food is always on point.
Start with the Heavenly Biscuits. Theyโre not popovers, not muffins โ somewhere in between, flaky and rich, and they disappear quickly. If you donโt get there early enough, youโll miss them.
I always go for the deviled eggs, and if we have a big enough group, the spinach and artichoke dip is a must. The ribs? Always solid.
For mains, the French Dip is a signature โ but they run out fast. And then thereโs the rotisserie chicken. My wife is a chicken person, and she swears by it. Simply done, perfectly executed โ probably the best rotisserie chicken out in East Hampton.
Yes, as locals know, the martinis are fantastic, and icy cold. And yes, you should get one.
Don't wait to order the Biscuits or the French Dip. They do run out, and we don't want you disappointed.
