Last time we were in London, my kids spotted a crème brûlée donut that had gone a bit viral — at the Bread Ahead Bakery. It took me right back to the time I stood in line for a Cronut for my wife Grainne, holding her tiny dog. Four pounds of fluff. I swore I’d never do that again. But the kids were all in at Bread Ahead, and the line moved quickly. And honestly? The donut was excellent. No regrets.

Look for the Bread Ahead stall near the back of Borough Market. If there’s a line, hang tight — it moves.
