A Moment on Main Street

As Sag Saturdays kicks off across the village on December 13, Dragon Hemp Apothecary adds to the celebration with an exciting yet grounding moment of culture and community.

From 2 – 4 PM, authors Annie Bien and Robert A.F. Thurman share their newly released historical novel, The Magical Adventures of the Sixth Dalai Lama: His Life and Loves.

Published by Tibet House and distributed by Hay House, the work weaves history, myth, and poetry into the story of the Sixth Dalai Lama — an enigmatic, young leader caught between destiny and desire.

The afternoon includes a guided reading, conversation with the authors, open Q&A, and book signings.

Guests are also invited to sip seasonal Tibetan tea and settle into the rhythm of the space and the spirit of Sag Harbor.
