Memory Motel is just a funny place that's been there forever.
It features a dimly-lit bar that courts a younger crowd during the summer.
It’s also a historic place - the Rolling Stones wrote a whole song about it. But there’s no 22nd floor or whatever they say in the song.

Memory Motel is part of what I think of as the Montauk Triangle - including Shagwong and The Point.
Those are the places where people like to have a drink and bounce around. Point being, you don't need to drive or Uber from one to another.
