Accidental Bar is a great little sake bar in the East Village - technically Alphabet City - owned by my good friend Austin Power. Yes, thatโs his real name. Not Powers. Power.
He opened it kind of by accident. He was talking to someone about how his dream was to open a sake bar... and then somehow it just happened. So he named it Accidental Bar.
Itโs small, warm, personal, the kind of spot where everything feels intentional, even though the name says otherwise. He does a fantastic job. Just a really cute little bar.
Itโs one of those places where you put it into the Uber and go. Youโll love it.
