Recommended by Jesse, co-owner of Sen restaurant in the Hamptons:
Accidental Bar is a great little sake bar in the East Village - technically Alphabet City - owned by my good friend Austin Power. Yes, thatβs his real name. Not Powers. Power.
He opened it kind of by accident. He was talking to someone about how his dream was to open a sake bar... and then somehow it just happened. So he named it Accidental Bar.
Itβs small, warm, personal, the kind of spot where everything feels intentional, even though the name says otherwise. He does a fantastic job. Just a really cute little bar.
Itβs one of those places where you put it into the Uber and go. Youβll love it.
