From Elizabeth, of SpinShack, East Hampton:
Where Locals Go
When summer gets busy out here, I retreat to my home. One of the best things about the Hamptons is the farm stands — you can get the freshest produce, straight from the source.
For those of us who live here, Thursday is provisioning day. You stock up, then entertain at home with friends. That’s part of the beauty of being here.
Quail Hill. They have a CSA, right on Stony Hill Road. And they have a seasonal stand at Amagansett Square Farmers Market on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. That's the one I always go back to.
Quail Hill is a true community farm — I like it because it is small. Just 35 acres and supporting the community.
