The Inlet is just a phenomenal fun spot when we’re out in Montauk. It’s a year-round go-to — not ostentatious, just easy. Some restaurants have a little attitude for no reason. Here, there’s none of that.
Inlet has a fun menu that’s well-priced. The sushi’s amazing — we always get the Lady Slipper: Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Tuna, and Avocado, bundled in a Pink Soy Paper wrapper. But you can also order a tomahawk steak there if you want. Or fish and chips. It’s the kind of place where you can show up in whatever and still eat really well.
It's a no-reservation spot, which is great for spontaneity. We usually walk in and grab seats at the upstairs bar. It’s one of the best sunset views in Montauk.
And during the summer, they have live music most weekends Fri-Sun 5-8pm. Check their instagram for most updated information.
