BonBon landed on a Sag Harbor side street this past summer, and unfortunately it took a little too long to get on our radar.
A Halloween day visit to peruse the gummy candies and licorice turned into a trick-or-treat moment when the shop handed over BonBon toothpaste as a parting gift.
Less than a week later, we spotted them sponsoring the World Childhood Foundation gala β the organization founded by Sweden's Queen Silvia to combat child exploitation and abuse.
We left inspired by Childhood's work with a parting gift β a small box of BonBon's candy. It might have been the best we've ever had: chocolate nougat, Swedish fish, sour gummies, mini-chocolate bars.
Half a pound of Swedish candy later, we're convinced: BonBon gift boxes are ideal stocking stuffers.
The small box includes sweet, sour, and jelly/marshmallow candies at $18 (or $20 for the holiday-themed version).
If you want the full chocolate experience with wrapped chocolates, the Chocolate Connoisseur Pack is $68 and promises to please.
