Space is at a premium during the summer here in the Hamptons. If you're traveling mid-week, rooms may be a little more accessible, but for weekend stays, I recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance. The reality is that many of our most desirable dates are reserved far earlier than that, particularly around holidays and special events.
For any holiday weekend, book as soon as you begin thinking about it.
Many of our guests have an annual tradition - they'll stay for the 4th of July, and as they're checking out, they'll immediately book the same dates for the following year.
Labor Day and the 4th of July are particularly quick to fill up.
The Hampton Classic horse show creates another peak demand period, as does the annual car show at the Bridge Club.
