Branch Out

Rooted's cool. It kind of gives off a little bit of a Brooklyn vibe. Their cocktails and drink menu are great. Sitting at the bar is nice, and they have an outside area now, which is really appealing. It's kind of that place where you walk in and you know they're working and aiming to please, at least it was like that the last time I was there.

The Food Experience

The food was delicious. They have small apps which come on these boards, which are really cool. The menu includes things like pasta and fish. It's not a huge menu — but it's got a very casual, chill vibe when everything else on Westlake can seem rowdy.

The Vibe

It still feels local and upscale at the same time. They're nailing the high-low balance. You wouldn't get super dressed up to go in there, but the food and cocktails are elevated.
