How We Found It

A stylish Roman girlfriend who frequents Madrid recommended this Basque region restaurant in Madrid called El Gran Asador Lecanda to us, literally the Great Grill.

How We Enjoyed It

Our fabulous experience, however, was at the bar.

The bar area of the restaurant has a masterful bartender. There is no bar menu, you just ask what you want. She'll guide you through the steps, what you're in the mood for, which spirit to chose, and whether you want it shaken or stirred. Whatever you want, she'll make it to perfection for you.

Inside Tip 📌

This restaurant is right in the middle of Salamanca, Madrid's premier shopping district. We dropped in after a very efficient bout of shopping towards the end of the day.
