What I love about living in the Hamptons is the freedom it offers. After years in finance and search, this place became a much-needed haven for relaxation. It’s here that I rediscovered a passion that had always been a part of me.
Living in the Hamptons allows you to truly connect with nature. The beaches, wildlife, and landscape all create an environment that naturally fosters relaxation. This is what inspired me to create SpinShack -- a place where individuals can pursue fitness at their own pace. With a relaxed, bohemian vibe and energy that shifts depending on who’s participating, SpinShack is a space for change. And change is good.
It’s a place to discover wellness in mind, body, and spirit, while setting and achieving your own goals—at your own pace.
One of my go-to spots is Maidstone Beach in Springs. It’s super quiet and easy to get to by car, plus it’s perfect for catching both sunrises and sunsets. I love taking walks there and just soaking in the peaceful vibe of the place -- it’s a great spot to really connect with nature.
I always stop by Tutto Caffe -- they have this amazing hot cocoa with bourbon. It’s the perfect treat.

My favorite thing to do is grab cocktails and snacks with friends. There are so many great spots for that, like Maidstone Inn in the evening. It’s a nice place to relax and catch up. And you can walk out to the pond afterwards and feed the ducks. I used to do that with my daughter.

I love wandering around Amagansett Square --- it has a great little vibe, with lots of cute shops. One of my favorites is Flowers by Beth. They have beautiful vases, flowers, and antiques. You can really find something special for your home there.

There’s always something to do at Guild Hall. It's awesome -- it hosts everything from comedy and poetry to music, and it even has an annual art show featuring local artists and kids. It’s such a community-centered place and always involved in fundraising for good causes.

This card was written by Elizabeth, an East End local of 20 years, with a deep love for art, nature, and movement. A former New Yorker with a background in finance, she now teaches spin and barre by invitation only at a private retreat space in Springs — where wellness and creativity go hand in hand.
