Daytime

We toured Florence in a golf cart and we highly recommend it. Sure it’s goofy and dorky but it’s a lot of fun.

We arranged it through a hotel – and took a two-seater (though other sized carts are available).

Our driver was an older man who barely spoke English, but he would hit a button and a little speaker would talk to us in English to tell us where we were going.

We had a blast doing it. The driver would stop at certain spots – like Michaelangelo’s Garden. We’d get out. He’d take our picture. And then back in the golf cart and off we’d go.

Do this early in your trip to get yourself situated with Florence.

Yes, it’s corny, but well worth a few bucks and a couple hours of your time.
