Grenning Gallery

A Sag Harbor fixture since 1998, founded by Laura Grenning after nearly a decade as a stock analyst in NYC and Hong Kong.

A move to her summer home on Shelter Island led her to plein-air painter Nelson H. White -- now 93 and part of a storied lineage of painters and art historians.

Through White, she connected with the Florence Academy of Art and an extraordinary group of classically trained painters. Instead of pursuing her own painting career, she chose to champion theirs.

Today, the gallery features classically trained painters alongside local Abstract Expressionist Darius Yektai, world-renowned artist Hunt Slonem, and beloved impressionist Ben Fenske, known for local landscapes and outdoor figurative work.
