From Brazilian jewelry to vintage finds and designers worth the detour, Claudja of Lazypoint invites us into her beautifully instinctive world.
I’m Latina — I grew up celebrating color. Color is a good thing. It’s not unusual to me. I also love black, white, and now I even wear beige which I didn’t think worked before with my olive skin. I find all color to be neutral, a base that you can build on. I think even leopard is neutral.
I love green for Lazypoint. It’s the biggest color in my country’s — Brazil’s — flag. Green is the forest, yellow is gold, blue is the sky, white is peace. Gold may be disappearing, but the forest is still there. We're trying to keep it.
Color should be instinctual, celebratory, and part of everyday life. At the beginning of the summer people are still intimidated by color. At Lazypoint, I may push you a bit out of your comfort zone. Once the sun is shining, everyone starts looking for color.
