One Small Step

It started with a simple moment — Rory, fresh off a long brew day, stepped out of the garage and saw a massive full moon framed perfectly in the doorway. That was it. The idea was locked in: brew on the full moon, release on the next full moon. Kidd Squid's Full Moon Series was born.

The Name Game

Each beer in the Full Moon Series carries a Native American name inspired by lunar cycles. We just starting pouring Flower Moon. Despite the feminine name, it's a real beer drinker's beer. You can ask for a sip at our Tasting Room in Sag Harbor.

Earlier this year we released Crow Moon, as well as Hare Moon, right before Easter. We'll let you know when Strawberry Moon comes out in June. Some names – like Worm Moon – didn’t quite have that marketable ring, so a little creative liberty was applied.

Brewed with Local Ingredients

Every batch in the series features local Foster Farm's grains and rotates a mix of hops, making each release a unique iteration of Kidd Squid’s signature IPA style. Flower Moon is made of 100% local ingredients. Limited runs, one-time-only brews — once they’re gone, they’re gone.
