Phinjamin
8 months young (40 lbs of pure action and potential)
Single, ready to mingle.
Let's be real: I'm a LOT. I'm bouncy, I'm playful, I'm that friend who shows up with way too much energy and zero chill.
My tongue is always out, my tail never stops wagging, and I approach life like it's one giant playground designed specifically for me.
I'm a solid black Lab mix with a shiny coat, expressive eyes, and the kind of enthusiasm that either makes you laugh or exhausts you βsometimes both in the same five minutes.
At 8 months old, I'm in that awkward teenage phase where I know just enough to be trouble but not quite enough to make good decisions consistently.
Here's the thing: I'm not for everyone. I need work. I need training β and ARF will cover my first training class at no cost to you.
I need someone who's not going to give up on me when I'm being a handful (which, let's be honest, is often).
But if you're willing to put in the time? You'll get the best dog you've ever had. I'm loving, strong, gorgeous, and completely devoted.
And that's a promise.
Running. Playing. More running. Maybe some fetch? Tug-of-war? A training session with treats?
Honestly, I'm down for anything that involves MOVING. Then, once I'm finally tired (it takes a while), I'll crash hard and sleep like the good boy I'm trying to become.
β‘ Energy for DAYS (seriously, charge your phone)
πΎ Endless enthusiasm for play
π§ Smart enough to learn β I just need teaching
πͺ Athletic build ready for adventures
β€οΈ Big heart that's ready to commit
π FREE first training class (ARF's got you covered)
π Dog-friendly (I play well with others)
An experienced dog person who's ready for a project.
I need structure, consistency, and someone who won't give up when I'm being a teenager.
You should have energy to match mine (or at least a yard where I can burn it off), patience for the learning curve, and a sense of humor about the chaos.
Bonus if you're into training, hiking, running, or any activity that involves me moving at high speeds.
β¦ First-time dog owners (I'm too much for beginners)
β¦ Cats (not my thing)
β¦ Kids under 8 (I'm too bouncy for little ones)
β¦ Apartment living (I need SPACE)
β¦ Low energy households (I'll drive you crazy)
β¦ Anyone expecting a calm, already-trained dog
Come meet me at ARF and see if you can handle this level of awesomeness.
P.S. I'm not related to the Hunger Games litter despite being named around the same time. I'm just Phinjamin β my own amazing, lovable, loyal self.
