While getting more and more touristy, Lake Como is quaint and breathtaking – particularly on a beautiful, warm day.

In Como, Cernobbio, or Trivino, you can sit outside; have a coffee; walk around; shop; go somewhere else; enjoy a drink.

Or you can cruise on the lake.

Lake Como is a 45-minute drive from Milan -- so it’s good for a day trip or weekend getaway.

But for us, two days is too short.

Three or four days is the sweet spot.

Unless you own a villa, you know?
