From Eric Peele, of Page restaurant, Sag Harbor:
Near the popular American Beech hotel, Brix & Rye bar and Pearl is Stirling Sake, which has established itself as a Greenport destination for Japanese cuisine. It's not exactly brand new to the scene but has maintained that fresh energy that makes it worth seeking out.
What makes Stirling Sake stand out is its commitment to clean, good, traditional sushi that's well-made.
We usually grab a seat at the bar. Itβs a fun bar to eat at. We do the same at Almond in Bridgehampton and Suki Zuki in Water Mill.
