From contributors The Liz Life and Ultimate Pie Guy:
Professional gambler David Walsh’s Museum of Old and New Art, or MONA, is open to the public .
It’s an unbelievable and diverse collection with various exhibits showcasing art on different levels.
To get there, take a 25-minute ferry ride from Hobart (drinks and snacks included).
Once on the grounds, wander around (where you may see a section on Catholicism or view a wall of clay vaginas) - and download their guide (their app is even better than LA’s Getty Museum).
Then hang out on the lawn, or eat lunch at an exquisite fine dining restaurant called The Source.
Hands down this is an unbelievable must see; a place to spend many a day.
