Old-school in the best way, The Hotel - as locals call it - has been holding court in Sag Harbor for decades, serving up proper martinis, indulgent brunches, and the kind of hospitality that never goes out of style.
I start with a dirty martini that means business โ almost a 2:1 ratio of vodka to brine โ and I ask them to hold the olives. Itโs the kind of drink that starts your getaway in the Hamptons.
Brunch here is just as generous, with Mimosas and a lineup of Benedicts that are just classic.
The martinis here are generous, 6-7 ounces in a V-shaped goblet. Most places you'll get about 4 ounces.
Also โ just like Kidd Squid Brewing Company โ weโre a fan of the Hotelโs Limitless Lobster Night.
And the Hotelโs seared foie gras? Not too shabby either.
