From Chef Nick Reisini, of Honest Plate:
I just got this book called Boundless Kitchen by this guy Ben Greenfield - another podcast guy that I listen to a lot. It's very, very interesting. His whole podcast and philosophy is all about longevity and living a long time as healthy as possible, because what's the point of living a really long time and suffering through it the whole time?
His approach is like what we do - you know, get a nice grass-fed piece of steak, put some Himalayan salt on it, some avocado oil or coconut oil, and grill it. Then make yourself a chimichurri with natural herbs that you have in your garden and some nice olive oil and a nice fresh piece of garlic. You really don't need much more than that.
It's recipes and a little bit of the philosophy on clean eating, because it's very similar to what we do here at Honest Plate in the Hamptons.
I just feel like there's always such good ways of inspiring ourselves with new things. I haven't even gotten to explore it yet, but I like his whole approach.
