Why I Love It

While Southampton is often thought of as a summer destination, Southampton Arts Center offers performances and artistic events throughout the year, with some programming beginning well before peak season.

Known for its mix of productions, the venue regularly hosts visiting theater companies from New York, as well as performances featuring local talent.

During the winter months, the space remains active, sometimes featuring ensembles of young, up-and-coming performers and it feels especially local — performances, art shows, and events that really serve the year-round community.
