A Rare Invitation

The Steinbeck House in Sag Harbor opened its doors for a special Sag Saturdays tour on Valentine's Day — a rare chance to step inside John and Elaine's home.

This is where Steinbeck wrote The Winter of Our Discontent and Travels with Charley. Where he received the call that he'd won the Nobel Prize in 1962. Where he wrote essays for America and Americans.

Today, the house hosts residencies for authors from upcoming to ultra-established.
