NEW YORK, NY, September 25 - 29, 2024 -- We always joke that the Affordable Art Fair isn't always that affordable. But we like the bi-annual fest held at Chelsea's Metropolitan Pavilion.
Not all of the art is art - some of it's decor.
However, what's good about this art fair is that it can introduce you to a new gallery, artist or work that stirs you and has you circling back for another viewing.
In New York, the event is split among two floors. The main floor is where the bigger players hold court. But don't skip the upper floor, which is intriguing and hip.
Here are some of the artists, pieces and galleries that caught our eye, both upstairs and down.
