From Rory and Grainne, Kidd Squid Brewing Co, Sag Harbor, NY:
Winter's here, and we're settling into our cozy off-season rhythm at Kidd Squid. Here's what to expect from now through spring:
We're open Thursday through Sunday for the off-season. As we get closer to summer, we'll gradually add days back β Wednesdays return, then Tuesdays by late May, ramping back up to seven days by July 4th.
Local businesses are coming together once a month this off-season to celebrate the village and welcome guests with special offers and surprises.
The first one will be on December 13th, when Santa is coming to Kidd Squid! You heard it here first β we just decided. There might be competing Santas that day, but ours is the real one. Obviously.
We're dialed in for winter with mulled wine, Forbidden Orchard (hot Milk Pail cider with Sagaponack Farm Distillery's potato whiskey), Chai Harder (our spiced black lager), and our rotating core lineup.
Starting in 2026, look for our Moon Series beers (at least four throughout the year), each featuring artwork from emerging artists at Ma's House, the BIPOC arts organization on the Shinnecock Reservation.
We're keeping it simple and delicious with small pop-ups, including a planned Raclette Night.
Music
Winter weather makes regular outdoor music tough, but we'll sneak in special performances from intimate indoor sets to Squid Sing-Alongs, with keyboardist and lyric sheets.
We're family-friendly always, and our heating lamps are ready to fire up on demand β just ask!
