From Yogeswari, a senior Jivamukti teacher and founder and president of AZAHAR Foundation:
If you’re looking to practice yoga in Berlin, head to Peace Yoga and its two Kreuzberg locations.
The studios are family run and led by a masterful teacher Moritz Ulrich, who is known for his beautiful asanas and voice. He chants very well.
The classes at Peace Yoga are mainly Jivamukti focused. There are many special guest teachers, including myself. And the school holds longer workshops for those looking to enrich their practice or become a yoga teacher.
The students here are mainly German but there’s an international following, too. While many classes are held mostly in German, all are welcome and the teachers are happy to provide English instruction, if requested.
Please visit Peace Yoga’s official site to learn more or to make an online booking at either the Glogauer Strasse or the Eisenbahnstrasse studio.
The studio mapped to this card is the Eisenbahnstrasse address, which has a big backyard and floor-to-ceiling windows. It gives the effect that you’re sitting in a garden. It’s a very nice atmosphere.
Eisenbahnstraße 5, 10997 Berlin, Germany
