Located in Greenport, Little Creek is an oyster lover’s dream—a no-frills, all-flavor kind of place where the merroir (oyster terroir) tells a story in every briny bite.

Feeling Shuck-y?

Founded by husband-and-wife duo Ian and Rosalie, their original plan was simple: farm oysters. But after moving from the West Village, they pivoted – opening a tiny, tucked-away oyster shack in an old bait-and-tackle shop. The concept? Fresh, small-batch, impossible-to-find oysters from local farms – ones with names as colorful as their flavors (think Mermaid Makeout and more).

Why We Keep Coming Back

The Little Creek experience is hands-on, literally. You can shuck your own oysters or let the pros handle it while you sip something cold. Over the years, it’s become a ritual: a must-stop, year-round haunt worth every ferry ride.

Now in a bigger space on Carpenter Street, it still holds that same salty magic. We’d go out of our way for it – and we do. Every time.
