Amber Waves is always a spot I recommend. It’s usually the first big spread of land as you head out of the buildings in town, and the scene there is just really nice.

They’ve got a good porridge with berries — I’ll sometimes get that if Rosie’s isn’t open yet. They also have a lot of local products. They do their own sausage, salad dressings, things like that.

Inside Tip 🪄

There’s a beautiful Japanese maple out front, and under that, a picnic table. It’s the best seat out there—and in the summer with a drink and a snack, a total gift. 🍁
