Claudja, founder of Lazypoint, shares her favorite designers and the pieces that make her shop—and her style—so personal.

Hand-Drawn in London

Another line we carry at Lazypoint that you can’t really find anywhere else in the Hamptons is this British line called Soler, from London. She makes all her own prints. Her sister is an artist, so she creates the artwork, and then Soler has them printed in different fabrics — silk, linen, cotton. Then she makes the dresses, jumpsuits, everything.

Buying for 15 Years

I found Soler through a customer of mine. She came into my shop when I had that little tiny space at the very end of the street here in Amagansett. She said, Oh, I know this girl. She just started. She makes this great stuff. And she brought me a few dresses.

I looked at them and said, Oh my God, I love it. So I placed a tiny little order. That was back in 2011. And I’ve kept ordering ever since. This is going to be my 15th year.
