Lights, Cameras, Action!

HIFF returns for its 33rd edition October 3-13 with 40% more screenings across two full weekends.

The 11-day format allows for an expanded lineup of premieres, conversations, and special events throughout East Hampton, Sag Harbor and Southampton.

Opening night features the US premiere of "Eternity" with Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner, followed by a conversation with Olsen the next day.

Major Premieres

The festival showcases an impressive roster of world and US premieres.

Sydney Sweeney receives the Achievement in Acting award following the centerpiece screening of "Christy" on October 4.

The festival closes with the world premiere of the filmed Broadway production "Merrily We Roll Along" starring Jonathan Groff and Daniel Radcliffe.

Other notable films include new works from directors like Chloé Zhao, Luca Guadagnino, and Rian Johnson's latest Knives Out mystery.

Local Connections

Several films feature East End settings, including "On the End" - a world premiere about a Montauk mechanic's battle against development - and "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You" with Rose Byrne as a Montauk therapist.

The festival continues its tradition of bringing world-class cinema to the Hamptons while celebrating local stories and talent.
