From Barryville General:
Photographer Christopher Makos âone of the original chroniclers of the Warhol era â is quietly selling limited edition prints at Barryville General.
As a teenager in the mid-â70s, Makos met Andy Warhol and was absorbed into The Factory, quickly becoming Warholâs go-to Polaroid photographer.
There were no selfies then â Makos captured everything: Andy with Liza, Basquiat, and more.
He later helped with silkscreens and played a role in launching Interview magazine. His work now lives in museums and private collections â and a few rare pieces are available right here.
