Full Moon, Full Rhythm 🌕

On the Monday closest to the full moon, a group of locals and visitors gather at Sagg Main Beach for an informal but steady tradition – a communal drum circle.

There’s no official start time, no set leader – just a gathering of people with drums, buckets, whatever makes a sound. It’s loose, it’s organic, a little hippy-dippy in the best way.

The ocean rolling in, the moon overhead, and the beat building as more people join. The loudest drum tends to set the pace. Kids bang on sand pails. Bring your own drum or simply listen. It all just works.

The Brew That Started With a Moon 🌙🍺

And then there’s another kind of rhythm: the Full Moon Series at Kidd Squid. It started with a garage brew and a perfect full moon framed in the doorway. Now, each month, we brew a beer named for the moon – Crow, Hare, Flower, Strawberry – using as many local ingredients as possible. Limited-run, single batch, out when it’s out.

Tides & Taps in Sync 🌊🍻

Two traditions, side by side. One led by the tide, the other by the tap. Monday night drumbeats, monthly moon brews, both in sync with the East End.
