The Ultimate Sunset Dinner

There are many restaurants in the Hamptons but few great ones on the waterfront. 

The Beacon is one of those few, and might just be the best place in Sag Harbor for an evening meal with a view. Perched above the Yacht Club, the key here is to snag a table on the deck during primetime golden hour.

Thankfully, Resy breaks out their deck seating separately so you are not leaving things to chance. Once seated, you get an unobstructed view of the harbor, and if the evening is clear, the sunset is spectacular.

The Specials

Never pass up on Chef Sam’s one-off specials. The Beacon is run by the owners of The Bell and Anchor that’s open year round in the Hamptons. Chef Sam is creative and loves to experiment with the menu, and incorporates a ton of local seafood. 

Inside Scoop ✨

Beacon carries a special beer made just for them called Li’l Beacon. Kidd Squid brewed it exclusively for the restaurant, and they plan to bring it back this year. At 4.4%, it’s a low alcohol IPA, a light pale ale that is perfect for drinking on the deck during summertime watching the sunset.
