This is the same estate grown gin as Sagaponack Farm Distillery’s American Gin, but this one had the luxury of resting in a whiskey barrel before it was bottled. The result is a citrine colored spirit with clear and warm aromatics. It magically goes with everything.

A Deeper Dive

Our Barrel Finished Gin begins with the same spirit as our American Gin estate-grown wheat, farm-raised ginger, and our full blend of botanicals.

The only difference? It spends six months resting in a once-used whiskey barrel, and that’s where the magic happens.

It picks up a gorgeous citrine color and a whole new personality. The citrus notes get smoothed out, the sharp edges fall away, and what’s left is mellow, aromatic, and quietly complex.

There’s something romantic and mysterious about aging in wood – you don’t know exactly what’s happening in there, but when the barrel opens, you can taste it. 

Inside Tip 🪄

This gin is one of the favorites at the distillery. Sip it neat, or try it over one large cube. And always sniff it first. You'll be tempted to wear it as cologne.
