The Clamshell Foundation’s Fireworks Show returns to Three Mile Harbor on Saturday, July 12 at 9 PM (rain date: July 13).

Atmosphere & History

Expect classic summer vibes with music simulcast on WLIW-FM (88.3 or 96.9) hosted by Brian Cosgrove.

This beloved East Hampton tradition stretches back over 30 years to George Plimpton’s 1970s Bastille Day parties.

Revived in 2009 by The Clamshell Foundation, it remains a favorite local celebration.

Viewing Spots

Enjoy the show from Maidstone Park, Sammy’s Beach, Gann Road, Hands Creek or Springy Banks beaches, or the head of 3 Mile Harbor.

Boaters can anchor in the harbor (Lat 41°01′15.49″N, Long 72°11′27.50″W) for front-row views.

Produced by the renowned Gruccis of New York, this fireworks spectacular comes courtesy of a fifth-generation Long Island family company known for dazzling displays.
