Beyond Food to Kitchen Tools

The Loaves and Fishes Cookshop started about 20 years ago, originally located on Main Street here in Bridgehampton.

We've always focused on kitchenware and high-quality housewares - everything from cooking implements to linens and items for beds. Our aim is to help customers curate their household in a very tasteful way. Especially when they are entertaining guests at home.

We focus primarily on high-quality European imports, but also feature excellent domestic products when we find exceptional producers.

A Mother's Vision

The Cookshop was my mother's endeavor. She wanted to start something in the cookware space that was adjacent to what we already did at Loaves and Fishes, but would be her own separate business that still synergized with my grandmother's food store.

She and my stepfather launched it together, creating a natural extension of the culinary brand while establishing something distinct. The shop has been going strong ever since, providing the tools and accessories that complement the food experience our customers have come to expect from the Loaves and Fishes name.

This card was written by Kyle Fengler. Kyle represents the new generation of his family's storied Hamptons culinary empire, which includes Loaves and Fishes Food Store, Loaves and Fishes Cookshop, and the Bridgehampton Inn & Restaurant. 

A Hamptons native with a Parsons School of Design education, Kyle pivoted from graphic design to hospitality, bringing a designer's eye and mixologist's palate to the family businesses.
