Sagaponack Farm Distillery will host a golden gathering dedicated to bees, honey, and handcrafted cocktails.
The team is partnering with beloved local beekeeper Mary Woltz of Bees' Needs for a tasting event that highlights her exceptional honey alongside the distillery’s small-batch spirits.
Guests can enjoy collaborative cocktails made with Mary’s honey, meet the beekeeper herself, and learn more about bee health, pollination, and what makes Long Island honey so distinct.
Mary’s hives span the East End—from EECO Farm to behind the distillery itself, where her bees thrive among greenhouses and asparagus fields.
She supplies seasonal, small-batch honey to beloved local spots like Marders and Milk Pail, with each jar reflecting the time and place it was harvested.
Mary will have her honey available for purchase and will be sharing insights into her environmental work and the essential role pollinators play in local agriculture.
Her thoughtful approach to bee care and land stewardship is part of what makes her so remarkable—and why Sagaponack Farm Distillery is proud to partner with her.
This is a casual, come-as-you-are event — good drinks, good honey, and good company, set against the backdrop of Sagaponack’s summer fields.
