A Signature Sip

If there’s one drink that defines Rosie’s in Amagansett, it’s the Grey Garden. Made with a blend of fresh juices and herbs, pineapple, and infused mezcal tequila, it’s finished with a gray salt rim and a nod to the iconic Grey Gardens estate in East Hampton.

The Backstory

The idea for the drink started with a circle of friends guinea pigging with us. It’s a riff on the “Grigita,” a bright green cilantro-pineapple shot you’ll find in Mexico. We took that flavor profile and evolved it – blending, straining, layering. The result is something more elevated and totally our own.

Inside Tips

If you order the Grey Garden and say “raccoon in the attic,” you get a free tequila float on top. That name comes from the raccoons living upstairs in the original Grey Gardens documentary – the one where the racoons are eating cat food out of the attic. 

Just say the password, and the team will know what to do. 🦝

Also, you can order The Grey Garden as a mocktail — and it’s just as popular as the boozy version. That one’s called The Green, and it’s fresh, healthy and delicious.
