Since 1989, Hampton Photo Arts & Framing has been an integral part of the East End arts landscape. Our Southampton shop is a comprehensive creative resource where supplies, expertise, and production services converge under one roof.

Our business serves multiple functions: a professional framing and canvas-stretching shop, a well-stocked arts supply store, and an archival reproduction center that handles everything from scanning to printing. This comprehensive approach allows us to support creators at every stage, from initial concept to final exhibition.

Regional Portfolio

Evidence of our craftsmanship hangs throughout the region. The Montauk Yacht Club features our complete reframing of historical photographs alongside printing and framing for newer wings. Our work extends from the Hamptons to beyond the canal, with both private collectors and public venues showcasing our technical expertise. 

Artist-Entrepreneurs

As co-owners and artists ourselves, we bring personal artistic credibility to our business. Having participated in local collectives and exhibited in area galleries, as well as co-creating the Off Hampton Film Festival, we approach customer needs with firsthand understanding of the creative process. This background informs our approach to service, particularly for the local arts community we've been embedded in for decades.

Cristen Motty and Ben McHugh co-own Hampton Photo Arts & Framing, the artist-centric framing, printing, and archival center that's served the East End's creative community since 1989. Cristen and Ben are fellow artists who've exhibited in local galleries, participated in art collectives, and co-created the Off Hampton Film Festival.
