Upscale Mexican Mastery 

El Verano is an upscale Mexican restaurant in Southampton that's become one of my go-to spots.

Their food is exceptional — nothing like typical Mexican fare.

They serve these beautiful, refined dishes like toro tuna mini tacos that are absolutely delicious.

Since they started or acquired a caviar business, they now garnish them with caviar on top, making them even more special. The rib eye tacos are another standout.

A Must 💯

Their spicy margaritas are incredible, especially with my personal twist of adding a drop of grapefruit juice. It seems like this custom modification has caught on, at least among my friend group. The combination of heat and subtle citrus is perfect after a long day of teaching.

Social Dining Style 

When my girlfriends and I go out, we typically order a variety of appetizers to share rather than individual entrées. El Verano is perfect for this style of dining — their guacamole, chips, and salsa are particularly good, and their sides like zucchini salad and broccoli salad are excellent.
