If you’re looking to take in some art while out East, these are the spots I always recommend — each one is different, and depending on the time of year, there’s always something new happening.
Southampton Arts Center has everything from exhibitions to pop-up fitness and film nights.
Watermill Center is part think tank, part residency, part performance lab.
Madoo Conservancy is tiny, magical, and feels like stepping into a painter’s dream garden. Which it is.
LongHouse Reserve is a sculpture garden-meets-cultural center.
Duck Creek Farm is great in the summer for outdoor jazz and laid-back weekend events.
Parrish Art Museum is the classic — beautiful space, strong programming.
Guild Hall in East Hampton is another staple. I love how it mixes art, theater, and community in one place.
Check each one’s calendar — some of the best events, like painting in the gardens or artist-led walkthroughs, are seasonal and easy to miss if you’re not watching.

A former New Yorker with a background in finance, she now teaches spin and barre by invitation only at a private retreat space in Springs — where wellness and creativity go hand in hand.
